we've stayed in many hotels in Waterford - this is by far the best in the city.
The staff were reallly good
Peace & Comfort in a busy part of the City
Excellent location, very friendly and accomodating staff
This was a very spacious modern hotel, location was excellent bar staff and reception were more than helpful
One evening the bar was taken over by a gathering of people with downs syndrome. There should have been an alternative bar/lounge for residents
Very comfortable and clean. Excellent staff, (reception, bar, restaurant), lovely meal.. what a lovely break..The central location allowed us to visit, Waterford crystal, Bishops palace, the Christ Church Cathedral exhibition, Dunmore East and Kite design, enjoy a lovely evening meal and have a relaxing couple of drinks, no fuss no rushing... even the bus journey to dunmore East was a pleasure, with a very pleasant and friendly driver,.... felt like one of the locals!!!
I cant but say good things about this hotel - From the moment we entered the hotel to the moment we left it was all very much a pleasurable experience. The room was spot on - clean, comfy and cosy. The bar food was fab and effecient. Breakie was relaxing and tasty. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. So I'l def be back and I'l def recommend this hotel to anyone..
I saw from other reviews parking seemed to be an issue. In the 4 days I stayed there I got parking in the carpark no problem. Hit and miss I guess but its not a big deal...All good - keep up the good work guys.
Very friendly and helpful staff, food lovely, good menu.
Friendly staff, Good food, Nice enterment
Excellent like always - thanks, see you next time!
binmen collecting in morning too noisy
The location and food was good room was very basic and hot , noisy wit window open to let fresh air in
This hotel was a great disappointment. Although situated within easy access of the town and highstreet.
This hotel was a great disappointment. Although situated within easy access of the town and highstreet, the hotel itself lacked cleanliness and service. Advertised on Booked.net as having parking facilities, guests should be aware that this is not the case. The hotel has approx 10 parking spaces which were occupied entirely during our stay and we had to park in the town at an hourly rate and keep moving our vehicle. The room itself was basic. Though we had cigagrette buts on the floor, dirty cups and unclean bedding. We complained to reception and were moved, however room service again did not see the need to clean the rooms or make up beds.
Room large and comfortable. Breakfast very good. Tea / coffee making good but no milk given for days 2 & 3. Good dinner menu.
We requested a quiet room which we were given but a fire door in the hall outside our room kept banging day and night. It was not repaired while we were there.
easy to find excellent food nice athmosphere in the bar
reported A problem with the room safe that did not get fixed
